The role is part-time, has flexible hours and the on-site location is in Stilwell, KS.
Schedule is flexible; ideally looking at 2-3 days per week in person, and some hours virtually throughout the week.
Start time is flexible as well but the school days don't start before 10am.
What you will be doing and responsible for:
Teaching and overseeing three students who are enrolled in a virtual academy (Grades 1, 4, & 6).
Most of the time will be focused on these 3 children while occasionally working with a preschooler.
Lesson planning, proctoring assignments, promoting outdoor learning and physical activity, assisting in school related projects, arts & crafts projects, field trips to museums, libraries, etc.
throughout the Kansas City metropolitan area.
All curriculum and materials are provided.
Strong time management and multitasking skills are essential.
Must have reliable transportation and a clean driving record.
Pay is negotiable based on work experience.
Prior education experience is preferred but not required.
